This Privacy Policy describes how Reliant Fleet ("Reliant", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you interact with our fleet-maintenance services, including the Reliant Fleet web application, mobile operator portal, and SMS and voice communications. By using our services you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

How we use information

SMS messaging

We use SMS for one-time login codes, inspection submission confirmations, and operational alerts (for example, when a fleet manager's asset is placed out of service). Message frequency varies with account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send (security login codes remain available because they are a 2FA function). Reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.

Reliant does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS message content to any third party for any purpose. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only third parties that ever process this information are the service providers strictly required to deliver our messages (listed below under "Third-party processors"), and they are bound by written agreements to use it only on our behalf.

These processors handle information on our behalf under written agreements and may not use it for their own purposes.

Retention

We retain account and service-record information for the life of the customer relationship plus the longer of (a) the period required by applicable recordkeeping law (e.g. FMCSA inspection records) and (b) seven years after the last activity. Voicemail recordings, transcripts, and inbound SMS metadata are retained for two years. One-time login codes are deleted after they expire or are consumed.

Reliant is a business service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We will post any updates here and, when changes are material, notify account owners by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
